Gift Registry

I have been thinking about the whole gift registry thing. We live in an apartment and don’t plan on having a house anytime soon. We really don’t need a lot of “things”. However, what we could use is a nice honeymoon.

I was thinking a trip to Italy, France and Spain for two weeks would be amazing. I have done tons of research and found cheap apartments to rent and we could take the train, which would meander through the coastline of all three of these countries. It would be an adventure we would never forget and we would stay away from the tourist spots so it would be much cheaper It takes about 9 hours to drive from Italy to Zaragoza, Spain. But we would probably take the train. Less hassle.

So… what I am proposing is a honeymoon registry. Instead of a gift, you could purchase a room for the night or dinner in Italy. What do you think of this Idea? A lot of couples are doing it now because it is hard to pay for a wedding and then a honeymoon. Leave me comments and give me your thoughts
