Music and the DJ

I would like your help. I have decided to use my IPOD for the DJ at the reception. All the kids are doing it! The owner of Cafe de la Paz said he has had several people use one and he even suggested it. yeah! I will still have someone announcing the toasts and a microphone is provided. I also think I know the perfect person to make special announcements ;) I hope she’ll do it… Anyhow, help me create a playlist. I have decided to have mostly 80’s music, but it is not limited to 80’s. Any suggestions for songs? Please put in your recommendations and requests by clicking here “Playlist”.

Hmm what are the most sappy, mushy love songs I can think of….

    Careless Whisper, George Michael
Endless Love, Diana Ross & Lionel Richie
    Woman in Love, Barbra Streisand
Up Where We Belong, Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes
Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now), Phil Collins
    Atomic, Blondie
Do That To Me One More Time, Captain & Tennille
    Lost In Love, Air Supply
    Lady, Kenny Rogers
    Slow Hand, Pointer Sisters
Waiting For A Girl Like You, Foreigner
    Sexual Healing, Marvin Gaye
Greatest Love Of All, Whitney Houston (arrrrgh)
Wind Beneath My Wings – Bette Midler (we advise against this one, in a cliche list even this is too cliched)
    Take My Breath Away, Berlin
Lady In Red – Chris De Burgh
(I Just) Died In Your Arms – Cutting Crew

(I snatched this list from some random google website…)
